ARE YOU OLIVER? EXETER LITTLE THEATRE
COMPANY LAUNCHES IT’S SEARCH.
In 2009, we found Annie.
Now, Exeter Little Theatre Company is looking for budding young
actors to play the role of Oliver in Lionel Bart’s much loved
musical, set to take to the stage at the Exeter Barnfield Theatre
this September.
Oliver, the musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ famous novel,
tells the tale of Oliver Twist – a story of
pathos and drama, which delights everyone with its outstanding
musical numbers. Food,
Glorious Food, I'd Do Anything, Where is Love?, Consider Yourself,
As Long As He Needs Me, Who Will Buy and Reviewing
the Situation all
musical theatre classics and Dickens' characters are brought to
life with all their facets glowing in this production.
As the Open
Auditions proved such a success for our production of Annie, we
felt that we had no choice but to open our doors to the wealth of
young acting talent that is out there. Any child who is successful
in their audition will undoubtedly gain a wealth of experience
working with professional Director - Joe McNulty, Choreographer -
Sarah Carter and Musical Director - Simon Carter, as well as
playing alongside an extremely talented adult cast.
Exeter Little Theatre

to continue bringing the best of theatre to the city, and they
hope this search will help to encourage the finest of Exeter’s
young talent through our doors.
