Realism to the Abstract

Jean Esther Brock Works mainly in acrylic mediums with some mixed media. She paints seascapes, landscapes and occasionally ventures into the world of abstraction. She is particularly attracted to the movement of the sea and it’s patterning. Experimenting with texture Jean has developed her own signature style.  Skies hold a fascination for her, particularly cloudscapes, she may start a picture off with only the sky as her source of inspiration.

Annukka Costello Nature and foreign cultures are two never ending inspirations in her art. The choice of colour and anticipation of its effect on the soul are particularly important. Annukka strives to produce paintings which will bring harmony and profound pleasure for years to come.

Adele Thomas is an Exeter based fine artist who works with textiles, natural pigments such as woad and rust.  She studied City & Guilds Creative Textiles in Exeter and then studied a BA Hons in Fine Art at Plymouth university. The emphasis of her recent work focuses on the expression of numinous experiences using locally collected water and materials.
