Clifford Room | 11.30 – 12.15| free entry: Postcard Stories

An informal creative writing workshop. With imaginative writing exercises and prompts, we will work towards each participant producing a short story on a postcard. Suitable both for beginners and those  with more experience. The workshop will be led by novelist and tutor, Cathie Hartigan, from Creative Writing Matters. Materials will be provided

Have you ever wondered about becoming a writer yourself? Wherever you are on your writing journey, we can help you on your way. Sophie Duffy, Margaret James and Cathie Hartigan are successful authors, teachers of creative writing and the team behind the Exeter Novel Prize.  We will answer all your questions about the different roads to publication.  Read your opening paragraphs at this informal session and find out how to make your work stand out from the crowd. Come away with pages of hints and tips on how to find the best route to publication for you.
