A.J’s Big Band Anniversary Concert

Devon based A’J’s Big band marks it’s 25th Anniversary  of entertaining audiences across the west country and beyond with a special concert of big band classics. Since it’s inception in 1983 by the late Alan (A.J) Hempstead, the band has sustained a high reputation specializing in the unforgettable music of the Swing Era. Under leadership from Ken Parr the talented 17 piece will be presenting its exciting
programme which blends great ensemble work with stunning jazz solos. Complementing the instrumental line-up will be vocalists Paula Mitchell and Mike Long with a glorious variety of ballads and up-tempo numbers.
